Community Engagement Working Party
The councillors will discuss the Annual Town Meeting, which will take place on Thursday 23 April 2026. This will include looking at ways to improve public engagement and encourage more people to attend.
The council will consider how community awards should be organised and whether any recommendations should be made to Full Council.
There will be a review of community engagement over the past year, alongside a discussion of emerging local priorities and issues. Councillors will also look ahead to engagement plans for the coming year, with a focus on inclusivity and effective communication.
Finally, the meeting will consider early plans for the annual report, including key themes, timing, format, and how it will be shared with the community.
