As part of the Town Council’s environmental actions, and to support our community, we’ve invested in a thermal image camera that residents and organisations can loan, free of charge, to capture valuable data about hot and cold spots of their home or workplace.

The image shows a handheld thermal imaging camera labeled "TG267" prominently in the foreground. The device’s screen displays a thermal heat map with bright yellow and purple colors indicating temperature variations. In the background, there are a row of traditional British-style houses with steep, slate-tiled roofs and red brick chimneys.

As part of the Town Council’s environmental actions, and to support our community, we’ve invested in a thermal image camera that residents and organisations can loan, free of charge, to capture valuable data about hot and cold spots of their home or workplace.

The camera generates images that can be easily downloaded and used to identify potential areas for maintenance to improve the property’s insulation. A small, refundable, cash deposit is required, along with proof of ID. If you have any questions, please contact the Town Council office on 01635 863592 or email enquiries@thatchamtowncouncil.gov.uk.
