The Mayor’s fundraising garden party
The Mayor of Thatcham, Cllr Petra Pemberton held her first fundraising event on the 8th of August in the beautiful Jubilee Sensory Garden.

The mayor of Thatcham, Councillor Petra Pemberton hosted a fundraising garden party in the beautiful surroundings of the Jubilee Sensory Garden on Friday, 8th August.
The clouds parted and guests convened in the tranquil setting of the Jubilee Sensory Garden to socialise and enjoy selection of refreshments on offer—including tea, coffee, non-alcoholic Pimm’s, and of course, a tempting array of cakes.
Donations totalling £209.25 were warmly welcomed in support of the Mayor’s three chosen charities:
– Swings and Smiles
– Home-Start West Berkshire
– Bridge for Young People
