Thatcham Town Council is pleased to announce the appointment of Scofell Commercial Landscapes as its new contractor for the maintenance of public spaces. The contract, which will run until 2028, will see Scofell taking responsibility for keeping Thatcham’s open spaces clean, green, and well-maintained.
Scofell has a strong local presence with members of the team working on this contract living in Thatcham. This ensures they bring a deep sense of pride and care to maintaining the environment in which they live and work.
The Town Council was particularly impressed by Scofell’s commitment to sustainability. - Grounds maintenance in Thatcham Town Council managed parks and open spaces
- Litter collection and waste management
- Hedge trimming, shrub bed maintenance, and grass cutting
- Pathway clearance and weed control
- Support for biodiversity initiatives and wildlife conservation efforts
Mayor of Thatcham Cllr Suzanne Adamantos commented: “We are delighted to welcome Scofell as our new contractor. Their strong environmental values and local roots make them the perfect fit for Thatcham. We are particularly excited about their commitment to sustainability and look forward to seeing the positive impact they will have on our town’s green spaces.”
