The Big Thatcham Fest Off is set to return on Saturday 11th October transforming Thatcham High Street into a vibrant hub of music and entertainment from 4.30pm - 9pm.
Bus passengers in Thatcham are now able to enjoy a greener, cleaner journey thanks to the installation of four new bus shelters featuring living grass roofs - a first for West Berkshire.
Behind every blue plaque is a story - of people, places, and events that shaped Thatcham. We’ll be sharing a brand-new series of short films uncovering the fascinating history behind our seven plaques. Heritage Open Days run from 12th - 21st September celebrating history, culture, and community.
Thatcham Festival returns from Friday 10th to Sunday 19th October bringing ten days packed with activities that celebrate the town’s local talent, creativity, and heritage. With many events completely free, and none costing more than £7, it’s the perfect chance to enjoy something new.
Thatcham’s town centre was transformed into a prehistoric playground on Friday as KidsFest returned for its second year, entertaining families with a free dinosaur-themed day of fun just before the new school term begins.
