Free Family Activities in Jubilee Sensory Garden
Two free activities in the Jubilee Sensory Garden for families - *new* Activity Passport and the GoFindIt scavenger hunt game!
Published: 18 May 2026
A new activity passport has launched for the Jubilee Sensory garden at the front of the town council offices!
Filled with various activities including taking rubbings of 7 rubbing plaques hidden in the garden, a wildlife watch list, and other sensory fun, it is a great way to connect with nature in a local green space.
You can collect your passport and a free crayon from the town council office during opening hours, but feel free to complete it outside of these times!
Additionally, we have two bags of the ‘GoFindIt‘ scavenger hunt game which can be borrowed for use in the Jubilee Sensory Garden and is perfect for ages! This card based game will take you on a different sensory adventure around the garden as you find things that correspond with the word on the card – e.g finding a rock for the ‘bumpy’ card.
Ask our lovely team in the town council office to borrow a bag during our opening hours.
Thatcham Town Council Offices are open 9.00am-4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 9.00am – 4.00pm on Friday’s.
