New Digital Screen Noticeboard Installed in Thatcham Broadway

A new digital screen noticeboard has been installed in Thatcham Broadway, bringing community updates, event information, and important notices to residents and visitors in a clear, accessible format.

The noticeboard, installed by Scion Communications, was funded through Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) contributions, ensuring that development within Thatcham directly benefits the community. The Mayor of Thatcham, Councillor Petra Pemberton, was present to see the new noticeboard in action and welcomed its installation, stating:

“This digital noticeboard is a fantastic addition to our town centre, ensuring residents and visitors can easily stay up to date with what’s happening in Thatcham.”

The screen will display details of upcoming town events, local initiatives, and key council information, supporting Thatcham’s ongoing commitment to improving communication with residents and embracing technology that benefits the community, whilst reducing the amount of paper being used.

The installation of the digital screen noticeboard forms part of Thatcham Town Council’s continued work to enhance the Broadway area, ensuring the town centre remains vibrant and welcoming for all.

Residents are encouraged to visit the Broadway and take a look at the new screen, which will be regularly updated with information relevant to the community. If you are interested in advertising on the screen please email enquiries@thatchamtowncouncil.gov.uk.
