Town Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer (f/t)

As the Town Clerk, Mel is the Council’s Proper Officer, guiding and assisting the Town Council in fulfilling its legal and financial obligations.

The Town Clerk is responsible for the administrative work of Thatcham Town Council; providing support and guidance to Staff and Members of the Council, to ensure the decisions of the Council are implemented swiftly and efficiently.

As Responsible Financial Officer, Mel manages the Council budgets, working closely with the Finance Manager.
