The community is invited to join a special Blue Plaque unveiling ceremony at Bradley Moore House, 3 Bath Road, RG18 3AG, on Saturday 22nd February, 1.30pm, celebrating the building’s rich history as a former Doctor’s surgery.

The unveiling will be conducted by Thatcham Mayor Cllr Suzanne Adamantos, in the Garden of Bradley Moore House. This commemoration recognises the significant role the building has played in the local community and honours its historical importance.

Following the unveiling, guests are invited to attend a reception with refreshments, along with an engaging historical talk by Thatcham historian Dr. Nick Young at the Town Council Offices, Brownsfield Road. Dr. Young will delve into the heritage of Bradley Moore House and its contributions to the town’s medical and social history.

This Blue Plaque initiative aims to preserve and celebrate the town’s historical landmarks, ensuring that their stories continue to be appreciated by future generations. The event is free to attend and open to all. The event will also be live streamed on the Town Council Facebook page.
