The Mayor of Thatcham Launches his Christmas Card Competition for 2023!
The Mayor of Thatcham, Mark Lillycrop, has announced a new festive competition this week challenging people to design his Christmas card for 2023. If you have a creative flair and fancy getting into the Christmas spirit, try your hand at designing a Christmas card for the Mayor.
The entries will be split into two categories, hand-drawn or multimedia (including photographs). There will be a winner chosen from each of the two categories and so the Mayor will have two sets of cards printed with the winning designs. There will be prizes to be won plus the accolade of seeing your design in print. Cllr Mark Lillycrop, Mayor of Thatcham has stated “I’m really looking forward to choosing my favourite picture for this year’s Mayor’s Christmas Card. This is the perfect opportunity to share your seasonal design – why not give it a go?”
Please email your design (minimum of A5 size) to enquiries@thatchamtowncouncil.gov.uk or post to ‘Christmas Card Competition, Thatcham Town Council, Brownsfield Road, Thatcham, RG18 3HF’ by the closing date of the 30th of November. Please include your name, contact details and age, if under 18. Best of luck!
