On Thursday 23rd March 2023, the Mayor of Thatcham, Councillor Jeff Brooks, presented this year’s Community Awards to 10 recipients who were present at the Annual Town Meeting.
This was followed on Thursday 30th March with a visit to the Regency Park Hotel to award VIAN Group with their award.
The awards recognise individuals, groups, organisations and businesses who have demonstrated outstanding service to the community, made a significant contribution to public life in Thatcham and have shown real dedication in helping local residents, and are awarded in the categories; Community Contributor Award, Environmental Champion, Inspiring Young Person and Lifetime Award.
