Jubilee Sensory Garden
Brownsfield Road, Thatcham, RG18 3HF

A beautiful, tranquil space for everyone to enjoy.
Located in front of the Council Offices in Brownsfield Road, Thatcham Town Council manages the area on behalf of Turnfields Recreation Ground Charity, as Trustee of the charity.
Opened in 2022, the space provides opportunities to sit back and enjoy the serenity, or help yourself to the abundance of seasonal herbs or vegetables when they’re ready to harvest.
If our gardener Sally is on site when you visit, she’s always more than happy to talk about the beautiful landscape.
We also hold a monthly Drop-in group called The Jubilee Garden Community, particularly aimed at carers but open to all. This is usually held on the last Thursday of the month, unless otherwise indicated. When the weather is not suitable for sitting in the garden, the sessions are held indoors at our Council Offices and participants can enjoy some gardening related activities such as flower pressing, painting bird boxes or plant pots. Please follow our social media channels for more information, or give us a call on 01635 863592 or email enquiries@thatchamtowncouncil.gov.uk.
